Join us as we welcome Chef Fer Candil of Paellas, Tapas & More for an authentic Spanish Tapas cooking class! This is one of our most popular classes at Con' Olio and perfect for a date night, girls night, educational night out or group event. Chef Fer will demonstrate the authentic Spanish tapas below. This class is interactive so be prepared to jump in!
Pulpo a la Gallega/Octopus Galician Style
Pa amb tomaquet / Tomato bread with Iberico ham
Gambas al ajillo / Garlic shrimp
Pinxto de Manchego con Cebolla Caramelizada/ Manchego Cheese with Caramelized Onion
Championes al Ajillo/Garlic mushrooms in wine sauce
Ensalada de tomate/Fresh tomato salad with bread
Chilled water will also be served. You are welcome to purchase a glass or bottle of wine before the event as well. After the event we will open up our shop for your own personal tasting tour.
A few reminders about reservations. The workshop is $70 per person. All purchases are final and we are unable to issue any refunds. Ticketholders will receive an email confirmation 24 hours in advance with event details.
About Chef Fer:
Fer is the Chef at Paellas, Tapas & More. Born and raised in Madrid, Spain, she also lived in Cadiz (South Spain), and in Santiago de Compostela (North Spain).
Chef Fer began learning to cook traditional Spanish food at an early age from her mother. She continues to use the same recipes that her family has passed down orally from mother to daughter for generations.
Fer takes pride teaching these recipes to her five children. Fer continues to develop her cooking talents attending various culinary programs and through private lessons with professional Chefs in Spain. She started teaching cooking classes for kids and adults 12 years ago.
